About

Funky Hue is the creative vision of Tanisha Shea Hasson, a London, Ontario–based multidisciplinary artist committed to building community through creativity and supporting causes she believes in.

Tanisha’s creativity is boundless, flowing into every part of her life—whether she’s cooking, designing, painting, sculpting, making music, upcycling, or writing. She thrives on pushing beyond boxes and exploring new ways to express herself.

Living with learning disabilities, chronic pain, and the lasting effects of trauma, Tanisha profoundly understands the transformative and healing power of creativity.

Her own journey of resilience fuels her mission: to share joy and connection through her vibrant, unique artworks and to inspire others by leading workshops where individuals can discover and unlock their own creative voices, fostering a sense of community and empowerment.

Funky Hue is made possible not only through Tanisha’s vision, but also with the unwavering love and help of her partner of more than twenty years, James, and the generous support of the dedicated Art 4 Animals volunteers—especially Miriam, whose kindness and guidance help keep everything moving forward. This team is dedicated to inspiring joy and creating positive change in the community through art. Thank you to all who support this mission through hosting events, purchasing creations, ordering custom commissions and sharing Funky Hue with others. We are grateful for you!
